Kundo Flower (Jasminum Multiflorum)

Kundo is one of the most important flowers of Manipur. It is used in the marriage ceremony. It is the symbol of auspicious and unity. It unites the bride and bridegroom in the marriage occasion.

It blooms throughout the year. But during the spring season it blooms the most.

In the marriage ceremony the bride garlands two garlands of Kundo Lei(flower) to bridegroom. The bridegroom takes out one garland out of the two then garlands to bride thereby representing that the bride unites with bridegroom.
